Canadian publisher, Friesen Press, has just released eighty-four-year-old Sydney Academy alumni, (Class of 1957) Joe Di Profio’s, first Children’s book, Beauty’s Mittens.
Joe will be remembered by his classmates as a well-known member of the 19th Royal Canadian Air Cadet (Sydney Academy) Squadron. He served as the captain of the award-winning rifle team, a member of the precision drill squad and a winner of Royal Canadian Air Force pilot’s wings and Department of Transport Pilot’s licence.
