I served on Okinawa and Cam Ran Bay Vietnam as an airborne Vietnamese linguist aboard RC 130 recon aircraft flying 12 hour missions. On my second hitch I served in Berlin Germany as a Russian linguist and was able to complete my bachelors degree in English and Masters in Counseling
