About Me	I married in 1978 and had a beautiful son named Colt in 1985. In 1986 my husband and I decided to move to North Carolina to live closer to my husband's parents and experience a more inviting job market. I enjoyed raising Colt on a mini-10 acre-farm and homeschooled him until he was in 11grade. Oh, what an enjoyable time and something I would highly recommend to everyone who loves being around their children. In 1990 Colt and I went through a difficult time when my husband was killed in an automobile accident. It was a challenge that only God could help us through...of which He did. In 1992 I remarried a man who has made a wonderful husband and terrific father to Colt. My husband Larry has owned an electrial contracting business since 1990 and is now ready to retire from that line of work. I decided to go back to college and become a registered nurse after Colt went into 11th grade. You may not know this about me but our high school guidance counselor who was reviewing our end of year apptitude test told me I would make a good nurse. I laughed at the time because I couldn't stand the sight of blood and couldn't imagine nursing at all. Well, here I am today a registered nurse and find it a very rewarding calling. While my specialty is Faith Community Nursing, I still occassionally work with blood...lol. My husband Larry and I are now ready to move back to Oregon to enjoy the beauty of Oregon amongst my family that I have missed for so many years.
