Connie Jean Seward, 59 of Sweet Home passed away on October 14, 2017 at OHSU hospital in Portland. She was born in Lebanon on May 24, 1958 to Susie Morgan Scott and Edgar William Scott.
Connie grew up in Sweet Home and married Merle Seward on April 14, 1979. They lived in Albany for a few years before settling in Sweet Home where she worked for Whites Electronics over 20 years before being diagnosed with AML leukemia in May of 2016.
Connie loved her family and home life. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Merle Seward and her two sons, Kevin and Brian of Salem; mother Susie Scott Davenport and stepfather Harold Davenport of Albany; sister and brother-in-law Karen and Dean Baldinger of Sweet Home; nieces and nephews, Cory and Teresa Wilson, Rachel and Taylor Jackson, Courtney Baldinger and Corey Herrera, and Aaron Baldinger all of Sweet Home.
A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 at Harvest Christian Center, 4231 Long Street in Sweet Home.
