I JOINED WEST SWAIN FIRE DEPARTMENT ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO AND I AM THE FIRST FEMALE TO BE A FIREFIGHTER AS LONG AS I HAVE IN SWAIN COUNTY AND THE FIRST AND ONLY FEMALE LIEUTENANT.
