Served 30 years day-for-day. 20 years with NCIS and NIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service and Naval Intelligence Service). Served in the Vietnam War. Highest Rank achieved was Senior Chief Petty Officer but served 20 years in civilian clothes and never wore a uniform. Served on the Presidential Inaugural Committee for President Jimmy Carter and served with the burial detail for President John F. Kennedy. Received numerous medals and citations for meritorious service.
