Angela Drew

Master Sergeant Angela. D. Drew assumed duties as the 84th Training Command Assistant Inspector General on 16 November 2016 at Fort Knox, KY.
Master Sergeant Angela. D. Drew is the daughter of Lawrence and Helena Drew. She enlisted in the United States Army National Guard on the 16 May 1988. She attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Dix, NJ and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD awarded the military occupational specialty of Track Vehicle Repairer (formerly 63H and now 91H). She was assigned to the 3647th Maintenance Company. In 1996, MSG Drew reclassified to Motor transport operator (88M) at Regional Training Institute ARNG, Fort AP Hill, VA. In 1997, MSG Drew was assigned to the 1710th Transportation Company, Virginia Beach, VA as unit dispatcher. In September 2000, MSG Drew transferred to the United States Army Reserve and was assigned to the 302nd Transportation Company at Fort Eustis, VA. She was assigned as a Truck Master. In 2001, MSG Drew was awarded Multimedia Illustrator (25M). On 25 September 2003, Drew enlisted in the USAR Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Program.
MSG Drew served as (TPU) Unit Dispatcher, Truck Master, Illustrator; (AGR) Motor Sergeant, Visual Information Management Chief, Training NCO, Platoon Sergeant, Maintenance Control Sergeant, Battalion Maintenance Supervisor, and Assistant Inspector General. MSG Drew previous duty assignments include: 3647th Maintenance Company1710th Transportation Company, 302nd Transportation Company, 982nd Signal Company, 271st Maintenance Company, C Co 324th Signal Battalion, 950th Support Maintenance Company, 92nd Chemical Battalion, and 84th Training Command.
MSG Drew’s military schools include the Basic Combat Training; Advanced Individual Training for 63H (Track Vehicle Repairer); Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC); Advanced Individual Training for 88M (Motor Transport Operator); Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course; Advanced Individual Training for 25M (Illustrator); Active Guard Reserve Entry Training; Consideration of Others Training; Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course; Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E); Army Recruiting School; Unit Movement Course; Training Management Course; Battle Staff Phase I; Security Plus Course; Master Drivers Course; Composite Risk Management Course; Search and Extrication Leadership Course; The Inspector General School, and Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education (SEJPME I and II).
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University (AMU), Master of Business Administration from Grantham University, and Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts/Graphic Design from Norfolk State University.
MSG Drew currently resides in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She is scheduled to attend the United States Army Sergeant Major Course (Class 69) in August 2018.
