Served 8 years as a Space and Missile Facility Journeyman (2M0x3). Stationed in Minot ND for all but my first year in service. Worked on the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system for 6 years in the field. Finished up my last year as a a controller in the maintenance operations center.

I joined the Corp in 1968 spent 1 tour in Viet Nam and was discharged in 1970 after 2.5 years in service ( i got an early out due to service served in Viet Nam ) . I spent 9 months as a slimy civilian and had to get back into a controled element so I joined the Duluth Air National guards for another 23+ years...curently residing in Tucson Az. enjoying retirement....with all the trouble I caused as a teen the least I could do was give something back something...proud and true Semper Fi

1959- Received Regular Officer commission to 2/Lt from ROTC at WSU - Superior. Completed flight training 1960 - Flew 3000 hours in B-52H with SAC until 1966. Returned to school and Completed Graduate Degree in mathematics at Arizona State University -1968. Transitioned to F-4 Fighter A/C and sent to SEA (Viet Nam) - completed 200 combat missions. 1970- Reassigned to the Pentagon as a Staff Analyst. 1974- Completed Air Command and Staff College - retained on staff as Director of Analytic Techniques until 1977. Returned to flying F-4 as a Squadron Commander and Chief of Aircraft Maintenance. Retired from USAF in 1980 as a Colonel.
