About Me	Grew up in Oak Cliff Texas part of Dallas. Went to M.B. Henderson, Greiner, and graduated H.S. From Sunset in '64. Went to Texas A&M 1 year and graduated with Bus. degree from UT Arlington in '69. After interning part time for a year during my sr. year at UTA, accepted management position with SW Bell right after graduation. Served as a Medic in US Army Reserve from '67 to '73 - 94th Gen. Hospital-Mesquite, TX. Married Shirley in 1970. We divorced in 2001. Retired in 1991 from Bell after 23 yrs. & serving a couple of tours in St. Louis at SW Bell Corp. headquarters. Went wiith Mutual of Omaha in in 1995, Nationwide Ins. in 1996, and Farmers in 2005. Married Carolyn Burgess (Sunset '63) in 2005. Retired permanently in 2011 after surviving a 'Widow Maker' in Oct. 2010. Have 1 daughter Amanda born in 1980 when married to Shirley. 6 grand kids. (See Pics.). 3 step-...(read more)
