| About Me | I met my husband, Darnell, in 1981 while I was coaching gymnastics and he was a rookie with the Portland Trailblazers. The team did not have their own facility so they practiced at the Jewish Academy, which is where I was coaching at the time. While he has played for the Blazers, Clippers, the Cavs, plus three teams in Italy, we have always maintained our home base in Portland. In 1989 our daughter, Tierra, was born. She is a forensics investigator, a model, and an actress. I taught gymnastics and preschool for many years, but quit to become the nanny for the Portland Trailblazers.
