About Me	I attended college in California (competing in track and cross country), ran the LA marathon in 90' and 91', and then got married right after graduation. I have been working in the field of environmental consulting since 1990, and currently serve as Arizona Operations Manager for a firm in Tempe. In 2001, I obtained a certification in Geographic Information System (GIS) operation via Penn State's World Campus. In 2003, I obtained my Masters degree in Environmental Technology Management at ASU Polytechnic, and a portion of my thesis (A Critical Analysis of the Potential Environmental Factors Contributing to the Spread of West Nile Virus) was published in 2005. This information, specifically the GIS model, has been used by health officials (e.g., Maricopa County, CDC, etc.) to plan and implement mosquito abatement measures to combat the spread of West Nile Virus.
