| About Me | Lyle and I have been married 39 years and have lived in AZ, CA, WA and OR. While Lyle and I didn’t have children together, we enjoy time with his three children and six grandchildren....they are beautiful! My career has focused largely on Early Childhood Education with teacher training, my joy. Early trainings took me to all parts of Arizona, including urban, rural and reservations. Later, consulting work led me to Japan, Guam, Okinawa and South Korea. In the last 15 years, before retiring in Tucson, I worked as director of statewide literacy program in OR, Smart (Start Making A Reader Today); Community Manager for Central Phoenix, First Things First; and Valley of the Sun United Way, Read on Phoenix.
