Achieved civilian position of senior mechanical engineer. Travelled extensively within the continental U.S. as well as outside (e.g., Panama, Germany, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Mexico and Hawaii). Specialized in submarine life support systems (i.e., carbon monoxide and hydrogen burners, carbon dioxide scrubbers, oxygen generators and atmosphere monitors).
