About	MARBLE FALLS, TX --- Patricia Jean (Hazen) Wirtz, April 13, 1953 - September 12, 2012, our beloved sister, died at the Texas lake home she loved in the same way she lived, with acceptance and optimism. She was born and grew up in Wisconsin, always proud of her Midwestern roots. Pat and Mark Wirtz, her childhood sweetheart and husband of 32 years, lived many places after marrying in 1974. They loved their life together and made the most of every opportunity. Pat had a gift for making others smile. Her energy, creativity and spirit made her special. She valued greatly her family and friends across the country. Their support and the love shown to her this past year made her life's challenge lighter. Even to the end, Pat loved nothing more than helping empower someone else. Pat was preceeded in death by her husband, Mark; brother, Harold; and parents, Edith and Howard Hazen; her brothers, Brian (Brigid), and Robert (Diane); a sister, Marcia; five nephews; three nieces; and in-laws, George and Perdita Wirtz, and sister-In-law, Sandy. In leau of flowers and memorial, it was Pat's request that an act of kindness be done for someone in need today. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 from 6-9:00 pm. at Olbrich Gardens, 3330 Atwood Ave., Madison WI
