Joy Gerald Tidler Sun Prairie-Kewaunee --- Gerald C. Tidler, age 28, died Saturday, September 5, 1981, as the result of an automobile accident which occurred while returning home from his second-shift job as a crane operator for the Bay Shipbuilding Company in Sturgeon Bay. He was born October 1, 1952 in Shell Lake, WI Mr. Tidler graduated from the Sun Prairie High School in 1971 and served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974. Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Tidler, Sun Prairie; 2 brothers, John, who is serving with the U.S. Navy in the Phillippines, and Terence, who is serving with the U.S. Army in Berlin, Germany; his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Bushey of Trego, WI; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Elia of Bradenton, FL Funeral Services will be held Friday, Sept. 11, 1981, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Sun Prairie. Father John Satterlee will officiate. Friends may call at the Tuschen Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
