Ed joined the Air Force after high school. I kept in contact with him for a while but he joined the military and I didn't get to see him much after that. He was on a mission flying over Turkey when the C-141 he was in blew up in mid air. I still have his obituary from the newspaper. I miss him terribly and think of him often.
