Barbara, was a Computor Tech, for the bulk of her career, she was one of the first Women Marines to complete Tank Engine Mechanic school. She also had a tour of duty on the Drill Field, training new recruits at Paris Island.

Participated as a sniper in the largest airborne operation since WW2 (Operation Royal Dragon). -1996
Participated in the US Army instructional video on night fighting doctrine “Own the Night.” -1996
Conducted test jumps for the feasibility of airborne operations for McDonnell Douglas’ C-17 Globemaster.-1997
Selected one of twelve to compete for the U.S. in an international military skills competition between twelve countries. -1998
Selected as one of two individuals to compete for the state of Indiana in a national sniper competition. Placed fourth in the National Sniper Competition- 2001
