Yes, I remember Glenn from our class of '64. He was a great guy always smiling. Never knew of his personal life or cause for his passing. I see he led a very good life and was a great contribution to our country. Condolences to his family and those close to him. (Hettie) Sue Stine Mason

The Marshall Glenn Hoffman Oral Cancer Research Lab at Moffett Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida is named in memory of Glenn Hoffman (November 6, 1945 – November 5, 2021). He was born in Prince George's County, Maryland and lived in that area most of his life. He enter the United States Capitol Police in 1971 and served with distinction until his retirement in 2004. During that time he received many awards and citations, included the highest award for exemplary service.
He was proud to be a member of the Grand Lodge, A.F.& A.M. of Maryland, and received his 50 year pin in 2021. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
In his early years during the summers, he worked on the family farm in Terra Alta, West Virginia and always thought of himself as a country boy. He loved to fly and obtained his pilot license in 1970.
Known for putting other people first, it was Glenn’s desire to help develop new drugs and find a cure for oral cancers. The naming of this laboratory is a heartfelt tribute to Glenn’s legacy, given by his longtime love, Phebe Morgan.
