Donna died of natural causes at home in Salinas, California, survived by her husband Tom Johns, and mourned by her many friends from Suitland Class 1961 and 1962. She was considered by many the most beautiful girl in Suitland High for all her years there. She grew up in District Heights. After a career of about ten years in private industry as a top administrative secretary to a computer corporation head, she married and enjoyed life as husband's wife. Donna was a highly accomplished artist, painter in oils.
