I was a math teacher at Suitland during the 1991-1992 and 1992-1993 school years. One person who I met there who inspired me was an administrator whose family name was Smedley and whose given name was Don, I think. I thought of sending him an email to say "Thanks for the inspiration." I ended up here. I remember him introducing himself to people saying "Hi. I'm Smedley. I work here." This from a guy who was second in command at the institution, if I remember correctly. On good days, I try to mimic that attitude.
