Favorite School Memory	I took several independent English course where I got to research to my heart's content. I also loved those class literature discussions.
About Me	After college I worked (VERY) briefly as a waitress in Chinese restaurant, a home for handicapped adults, married a Canadian, left for Japan (when I was 23) where I've now lived for 41 years. We live in a smail country town but our lives are NEVER dull. In 1989 I convinced my husband that we could take 5 kids between the age 2 and 12 on the Siberian Railway... we went around the world that year missing Tiananmen Square massacre by just 2 months. I went back to University a few years ago and studied mostly Chinese and Japanese language and literature. My husband pastors a small church in our town (and I help him) but I entered Hirosaki University Graduate School in October 2017 and researched the history of Christianity in Japan from the Meiji Restoration to WW 2 and wrote about how it relates to...(read more)
