| About Me | Wife, Mom, Marathoner. I have been married to my hot husband, Scott, for 14 years. We have 2 kids, Cade and Callye, 12 and 10 years old. They are lots of fun. I work full time as a physician assistant at The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Head & Neck Surgery. I love our pets: Duke-the Golden Retriever, Bode-the other Golden Retriever, Mouse-the 10 year old orange tabby, George, the young orange tabby, Jedediah-the teddy bear hamster and 2 big aquariums full of lots of fish. In my spare time, (hahaha) I am one of the head coaches for a running group and am training for The Houston marathon in January 2012. I love sushi and wine! I graduated from Stratford High School then went to The University of Texas at Austin where I was on the UT Water Ski Team. I was president of the team for 2 years. After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology, I moved to Aspen, Colorado for 1 ski season. I accidentally stayed for 5 years. While in Aspen, I became a volunteer firefighter and EMT, I taught skiing, waited tables in a Chinese restaurant and taught physical education part-time at Aspen Elementary School. While using my EMT skills, I quickly learned that an EMT can't do much so I decided to apply to PA school. In 1998 I moved to Galveston and started school.
