About Me	I was a member of the Stoughton National Guard at the time I graduated from High School. Shortly afterwards the Stoughton Guard was called to active duty. As a member of Company I f I was a member of Company I, of the Stoughton National Guard when I graduated from High School. Our unit was activated and sent to Camp Bueargard in Louisiana for training. In 1941 we were shipped overseas to Australia and ended up fighting in World War II in New Guinea. Was overseas until 1945 and was discharged at Fort McCoy, WI as a Technical Sergeat. Got married in 1946 and joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard and became a Federal Civil Service Air Technician working full time for the guard. As the family grew we all did a lot of traveling throughout the USA in our Motorhome visiting most all the states.
