About Me | "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." - Mark Twain Some call me Mark. Others call me Brado. Take your pick. I am the one you will never fully figure out, understand, or get through to. I am a hater of fake people. I was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Ashburn, Virginia. I'm a HUGE Virginia Tech fan. I never went to school there nor do I plan to, I just love the team. Yeah, I know...I'm weird :B. GO HOKIES! o/ Cooking has become a passion of mine and I have pursued it as my career for the past 7 years. I am the Head Pitmaster at a restaurant called Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q. I've worked with them since day one in Conyers and have loved every minute of it. I guess it's because I fell in love with the culture...or was it the ribs? I love my friends and family (even the ones I haven't talked to in a while), because I know they will always be there for me no matter what just like I'll always be there for them. I derive inspiration and action from quotes, so expect to see those in my status every once in a while. I like the sound of rainfall and thunderstorms, but I hate being IN the rain. My fiancee Lindsay is the best thing to ever happen to me. She is my best friend, I absolutely love her to death and forever will. We are getting married in June 2013, and I couldn't be more excited! I love you baby! I snore when I sleep and I talk in my sleep too. I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones...har har. Llamas are by far THE COOLEST animal to walk this planet, hands down, no questions. I'm a total Arachnophobic, even when it comes to the little ones. In a weird way 8-legged freaks fascinate me though, but that doesn't stop me from killing them. I believe if there is no sacrifice, there will be no victory. I believe with hard work and dedication, comes great success. I believe that we are all meant to be here for a reason, and in time we will learn what that reason is. I believe that in this world, this life, our existence; there are far greater, more complex forces that we as human beings can not even BEGIN to comprehend. But I also believe that we one day will be able to. I hate mayonaise, sour cream, raw onions, soy milk, cottage cheese, spiders, spider -webs-, vodka, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't feel like listing right now but one day will. ---> honey bbq Fritos, hoppy beer, and a warm pillow in the summer are three more things I hate. lol... Like I said...I'm the one you'll never fully figure out, nor will you ever meet someone like me in your entire life. I'm a little shy at first but once you know me, you will soon...(read more) |
