| About Me | Went to the University of North Texas on a golf scholarship and was a member of a top 20 nationally ranked golf team. Finished my teacher education degree at Oklahoma State in 1986 with endorsements in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Health & Physical Education. Was a officer in FCA at UNT and OSU. I met my wife Monica at OSU, we were married in 1986. I taught science and coached football and golf at Sapulpa from 1986-88. I went to East Central University in Ada, while there I coached football( won the NAIA National Championship in 1993) from 1988-97. I coached golf there from 1990-97. ( we were three holes away from winning the National Championship in 1995). Sponsored FCA throughout my timeat ECU. Recieved my M.Ed. in Exercise Science in 1990 at ECU. I taught Fitness & Wellness. I had my first son in 1992 in Ada. I went to the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1997 to coach men's golf and sponsor FCA. I had my youngest son in 1997 in Monroe. I left to go to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1998. I have been the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach and the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for all sports up until this current time. I have also taught Fitness & Wellness and Motor Learning. I have been the FCA sponsor throughout my tenure here. I have been blessed to have great student athletes and great success throughout my tenure at NSU. We have had 11 top 25 nationally ranked mens golf teams and 12 top 25 nationally ranked women's golf teams. I currently reside in Claremore and commute to Tahlequah....(read more) |
