About Me	Spent a year in Japan with my original family (mid-60s), and by 1967 was running a mainly fretted instruments music store (Bill Lewis Music) on West Broadway in Vancouver with my C/L husband, Bill, for about mostly wonderful and exciting 20 years (mid-'60s - mid-'80s). During and since then, travelling across Canada, U.S., and UK. Various other jobs ranging from working in bookstores to private in-home care of elderly clients whom I came to love and cherish. I chose not to have my own kids for reasons to numerous to list here, but I have warm, satisfying relationships with several stepchildren/grandchildren/great grandchildren and former violin pupils each of whom helped to fulfill my desire to include children in my life. Now retired and single in Duncan on Vancouver Island -- I LOVE Island life, especially the semi-rural aspects of it -- reminds me of the wide-open natural beauty of Richmond -- all the family-run farms, blueberry fields, Steveston's busy fishing village, and soooo many SONGBIRDS! -- when my family lived there (1957-1969). These days, I'm sorting through a lifetime's collection of papers/letters and photos ... I don't want to leave too much clutter for anyone else to have to deal with once I'm onto the next adventure: into The Great Beyond... Until then, while this Covid pain in the neck goes on, I immerse myself in practising to higher levels, and greatly look forward to the day when I can enjoy getting back to making music togeth...(read more)
