1973 Grads - Steveston High 50th YEAR REUNION

Just want to share the following info:

So far, the following events are planned:
Sept 29, 2023 - Pub night - Informal and casual meeting for everyone (to feel awkward but have fun) .

Date: Friday Sept 29, 2023 - Time: 7pm - Midnight???
Place: Legends Pub
9031 Blundell Rd, Richmond, BC

The Friday Pub night is meant to be just an informal event so it will be a good opportunity to wear your Steveston High colors. (Purple and Yellow) .

Glen Kishi (Class of '74) has some great tee shirts and apparel available for cheap but get your order in quick so you have it for the Reunion.

Sept 30, 2023 - Banquet/Reunion/Dance and Social
Place: Richmond Curling Club
5540 Hollybridge Way, Richmond, BC
Time: 6pm Drinks (Cash bar)
7pm Buffet dinner
After dinner we'll have raffle prizes, more socializing and dancing as you see fit. So plan on making a night of it.

Discount arrangements for hotel rooms at the Executive Hotel Vancouver (Richmond) at Gilbert and Westminster Hwy. Just one block from the Reunion. Make your own reservations. Make sure that you tell them you are with the "Steveston High School Class of 1973 Grad Reunion." to get the discount rate, free parking, wifi etc.
Deadline for getting the group rate is AUGUST 28th so book now.

Total cost will be $100 per grad for both nights. ($160 with a plus one) Hopefully everyone will be attending both nights. If you absolutely can't attend the Reunion on Saturday but want to attend on just the Friday, there is still a $40 charge to cover expenses.
