XCEND Named to Inc. Magazines 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies
August 18, 2009 – Brighton, Michigan — Inc. magazine this week ranked XCEND Group NO. 139 on its annual ranking of the 500, fastest-growing private companies in the country. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, GoDaddy, American Apparel, Oracle, and hundreds of other powerhouses gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500.
In addition to ranking No. 139 overall in the nation, XCEND Group ranked No. 1 as the fastest-growing private company in the Detroit-Warren-Livonia metropolitan area and No. 11 in the IT Services category of the Inc. 500 Top List of Companies by Industry. With reported sales revenue of $5.3 million, up from their 2005 reported revenue of $384,842, XCEND posted revenue growth of 1266 percent, vastly exceeding the industry benchmark of 34.8 percent as well as Inc. 500’s industry median of 152.2 percent.
XCEND Group was founded in 2004 and specializes in IT management products and consulting services, particularly on systems based on the Symantec Altiris suite of products. The company also maintains partnerships and certifications with leading technology providers like Dell, Credant, Savant Protection and Tripwire.
