Served one year on 105 howitzer crew as assistant gun crew chief. Transfered to Headquarters platoon and became a radio operator for a forward observation team in Vietnam. Upon return to U.S. served as N.C.O.I.C of Field Radio Operators School as a Sgt. E-5 at Camp Pendleton, California until my discharge in Oct. of 1966

encouraged by teachers and coaches of the

Steubenville Public School System.
