About Me	Taking liberty with Martin Luther and Paul Tillich: You never know if the voice that inspires you is from God or the Devil. Action always requires a leap of faith. Therefore be humble and sin boldly. As I look forward to my 62nd year I feel incredibly grateful for the twists and turns of this adventure which have lead me to Monica, the joy of my life. Professionally, my early studies in politics, theology and film have blended beautifully with later studies in psychology and my career in pastoral counseling and psychotherapy. Over the past decade, writing political/cultural commentary and providing mental health segments for Channel 9's, Bridge Street, the Syracuse affiliate of the ABC television network, have been unexpected but exciting additions to my professional pursuits. Through it all, close friends, our dogs, running, movies, travel. photography and the Chicago Cubs are the interests and activities which sustain and renew me.
