| About Me | I entered in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk crew chief and was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia. During my three years in the military I've been skydiving, rock climbing, rappelling, flew east coast to west coast in a Blackhawk, did the Grand Canyon, and suffered through endless rotations in the Bahamas flying special missions with other government and law enforcement agencies. I met my first wife before leaving the military. It wasn’t too long after being together that we decided to get married. Later we had two boys Michael soon to be 17 and Tim now 13. After the Army I found employment in Savannah with Lockheed Martin as an aircraft mechanic working on helicopters. My time with Lockheed Martin gave me the opportunity to travel the entire east coast, Bahamas, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Panama, Honduras, and Columbia. After getting enough experience I received my A&P license. I pursued a degree in Professional Aeronautics at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, but I waited too long after getting out of the military to start college and the well (GI Bill) ran dry. Oh and I got divorced not part of the plan…..welcome to the new millennium! My sons live with their mother, but I see them everyday after work and I get them every other weekend. After milling around in the single life for three years, I remarried. Along with my new wife Suzanne also came two step daughters Brittany now 19 and Lauren 15, and a Silky Terrier who we call Moo. The girls and Moo live us. Currently, I am a Program Manager for the Egyptian Air Force (EAF). With the help of two others I manage nine Gulfstream VIP jets which are part of the Egyptian presidential fleet. My job is to integrate all parties to the contract and oversee the entire program from the Gulfstream side. The parties include the Egyptian Air Force, the U.S. Air Force, the Defense Contract Management Agency and Gulfstream……welcome ...(read more) |
