I was originally in the Texas National Guard in the local Bryan Center from 1970 until 1972. We were an Airborne Unit. In 1972 I joined the active duty US Navy and remained until I retired in 1992 as a Machinist Mate Chief Petty Officer. God Bless the US Military.
