Nearly every class (at least used to) pulled some kind of, mostly harmless, prank at school. One day in 1974 (could have been 73) about 10 of us in gym class were discussing what would be a good prank and the only reason I can remember any of the ideas is because several of our fellow students actually carried it out. It took a couple weeks, but one day we got out of school to see Mr Wentz's VW beetle parked on top of the auditorium roof. Apparently, some students (who shall remain nameless) had dissembled the car, carried it up to the roof in pieces, and reassembled it there. After much public display of consternation (and private laughing) and wringing of hands school officials got several of the football players, likely as not the same guys who did it to begin with, to reverse the process. AFAIK nobody ever got into any serious trouble over the event and the worst outcome was Mr Wentz being delayed going home a couple hours.
