Donna Jean Webb, age 90, of Manter, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, April 11,2026, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. She was born March 19, 1936, south of Manter, Kansas, in the family home, to Fred Charles and Rhoda Leora (Fender) Kilgore.
Donna graduated from Manter High School in 1953. She went on to attend Fort Hays State University for one year before returning home. On July 24, 1955, she married J.C. Webb at her parents’ home in Manter. Donna dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker; she took great pride in raising her children. In her later years, Donna worked at the Stanton County Treasurers Office. She found joy in cooking, sewing, gardening, and tending to her flowers. She was an active member of the Manter United Methodist Church, where she often helped cook and organize funeral dinners.
Donna loved her family deeply. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, James Charles Webb of Manter, Greg Webb of Chesnee, South Carolina, Cynthia Williamson and husband Rick of Johnson; son-in-law, Mike Westeman of Syracuse; five grandchildren, Michael Williamson and wife Megan, Chantry Williamson, Ashley Webb, Tyler Theis and husband Brad, and Mandy Palmer and husband Clint; four great-grandchildren, Emelin Williamson, Marin Williamson, Aubrey Palmer and Aubree Theis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rhoda Kilgore; husband, J.C. Webb;
daughter, Stephanie Westeman; brothers, Bernard, George and Warren Kilgore; sisters, Leora Creech, Joyce Rinehart, Juan Toole, Letha McGinty, Velma Baier and Arlene Nichols; and daughter-in-law, Julie Webb.
Graveside service will be Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson with Pastor Erik Miravete officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson. Memorial contributions may be given to the Stanton County Long Term Care Unit or Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, KS 67855.
