About	Manter, Kansas Gayl Wright, 78, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Stanton County Hospital in Johnson City. He was born Nov. 29, 1931, to Glenn A. and Nellie Vincent Wright on the Stanton County homestead that has been in the family for more than 100 years. He was a farmer and cattleman. He married Mary Lou Bullock in 1950 in Raton, N.M. Survivors include his wife of Johnson City; a son, Phillip Wright of Johnson City; a daughter, Olinda Harbaugh of Derby; a brother, Cecil of Greeley, Colo.; three sisters, Lillian Woolery and Fern Kistler of Johnson City and Betty Payne of Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Curtis G. Wright; and two brothers, Ivan Wright and Paul Wright. Funeral service was at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel.
