Betty Jane Dryden-Monical, 89, died Sept. 10, 2011, at Country Place Senior Living, Larned. She was born June 16, 1922, in Pawnee County, Kan., the daughter of Bryan T. and A. Edna Linder Williamson. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and secretary. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Farm Bureau Association and DAR, all of Larned.
On March 1, 1942, she married John Dryden at Wichita. He died July 11, 1995. In June 1997, she married Ralph Monical at Cimarron. He died Feb. 6, 2009. Survivors include: two sons, Robert Dryden of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Tim Dryden and wife Marty of Larned; two daughters, Dina Entz and husband Marvin of Wichita and Lisa Wright and husband Jess of Sylvan Grove; three grandchildren, Bryan Entz and wife Kristy, John Dryden, McKelvey Dryden; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Heather Entz; and a great-great-grandchild, Gabe Entz. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Bob Williamson.
Graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, with Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Inurnment will be at the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
