| About | Manter, Kansas Eloise Irene Bilbery Taylor, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Hamilton County Extended Care Facility in Syracuse. She was born Jan. 26, 1918, at Moscow in Stevens County, to Charles H. and Edna C. Lahey Bilbery. She graduated from Manter High School in 1936. On May 14, 1936, she married Elmer L. "Bob" Taylor at Johnson City. They resided in Syracuse. A homemaker, Mrs. Taylor was a member of North West Kearny HDU and the Mothers Club and served as a 4-H leader. She enjoyed tole painting, knitting, crocheting, traveling, fishing, bargain shopping, oil and watercolor painting, cooking, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sharon A. Englert, Syracuse; a daughter-in-law; a foster son, Bill Gatrell of Denver; two brothers-in-law; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald L. Taylor; a daughter, Sandra K. Taylor; a brother, Harry E. Bilbery; and two sisters, Avonlea S. Sutphin and Charlotte E. Kreutzer. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. MST Saturday at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Syracuse. Visitation hours are until 8 p.m. MST today and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. MST Friday at Greene-Fellers Funeral Home, Syracuse, and from 5 to 8 p.m. MST Friday at the church.
