Rubie E. Cusenbary, 88, died Nov. 4, 2004, at the Norwich Care Center. She was born Aug. 10, 1916, in the Philippine Islands. A longtime resident of the Cunningham community, she was a retired teacher in the Penalosa and Cunningham school systems.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cunningham United Methodist Church. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maud Cemetery, Cunningham.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Henson, Norwich, and Norma Setter, Cunningham; a brother, Dale Sheldon, Broken Arrow, Okla.; a sister, Esther Evins, Guymon, Okla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Cunningham United Methodist Church or the Norwich Christian Church, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068
