About	Manter, Kansaas Edna P. Weaver, age 89, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005, at the Sylvia Thompson Living Center in Sedalia. She was born on December 1, 1915, in Stafford, Kansas , the daughter of Emery and Alta DeSelms. She moved to Manter, Kansas and she was a graduate of Manter High School. On July 18, 1936, she was united in marriage to Curtis Weaver in Manter, and unto this union two sons were born. In 1955, they moved to the San Louis Valley in Colorado. She began working at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, in 1961 and worked there until her retirement in 1982. While working at Adams State, she took college classes and graduated from Adams State in 1974. Shortly after her retirement, she moved to Sedalia. Edna was an avid gardener. She always put out a big vegetable garden and she loved to raises flowers. She was also liked to cook big meals for her family and friends. She was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. In December of 1981, she was united in marriage to Lindle Hudson in Sedalia. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one brothers, Art DeSelms, and one sister, Lucill,Peterson and one grandson, Jerry Lee Weaver. She is survived by two sons, Don A. Weaver, of Sedalia, and Robert D. "Bob" Weaver of Warsaw. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ralph DeSelms, of Ulysses, Kansas and Leland DeSelms of Guyman, Oklahoma, two step-sons, David Hudson, of Kansas City, Missouri, Ralph Hudson, of London, England, two step-daughters, Linda Sue Hogland, of Harlingin, Texas, and Billy Jean Rindt, of Corpus Christie, Texas, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Edna P. Weaver will be held at11:00 A.M. Monday, November21, 2005 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri, with Rev. Mary Biesemeyer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw. Pallbearers will be Brian Weaver, Frosty Weaver, Robbie Weaver and Scott Weaver.
