Thomas E "Papa Thom" Kendrick died Aug 15, 2006 at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Jan 5, 1931 in Manter, the son of Chester David and Sarah Jane Orman Kendrick. A resident of Hutchinson for the past three months, formerly of Minneapolis, he was a retired salesman.
He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars, Minneapolis, and Disabled American Veterans. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
On Jun 17, 1951, he married Yvonne Trammell in Johnson. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, two daughters, three sisters, 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Gary; and two sisters, Mary Lou McKinney and Dolores McCray.
Private graveside services were held in Sterling Community Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
