About	Lentz Cheatham, 84, of Porter, TX, passed away April 16, 2015 at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital. Lentz was born April 9, 1931 in Calhoun, MO to Dessie (Roadarmel) and Paul Cheatham. He was a graduate of Johnson City, KS High School. In 1987 Lentz married Mary in Denver, CO. They lived in Evanston, WY for 15 years and then moved to Porter. He was a life long truck driver. Lentz said he had more fun working than other people had playing games. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying planes. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mary. Since Mary’s death in December, Lentz had spent his time traveling, visiting family and friends. He went to Colorado to see Terry and Tom, stopped in McPherson and saw Tony, then to Wichita to visit his brother Val. His final stop was in Spring Hill to see Ted, Diana, grandkids and great grandchildren. He has left all of us with wonderful stories and loving memories. Lentz will be dearly missed. Lentz is survived by sons: Tommy Lynn Cheatham of Castle Rock, CO, Tony Lee Cheatham and La Donna of McPherson, KS, Teddy Lawrence Cheatham and Diana of Spring Hill, KS and Terry Lentz Cheatham of Arvada, CO; brother Val Rhys Cheatham of Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren: Danny, Jeremy, Timothy, Todd, Melissa, L.T., Tana, T.J., and Jamie; and 12 great grandchildren. © Bruce Funeral Home April 2015 https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/202442857/lentz_irvin-cheatham
