About	Ivan Lee Josserand, 80, Johnson, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson. He was born May 12, 1923, to O.E. (Doc); and Pearl (Winger) Josserand in Johnson. He married Margaret Grace Miller on July 22, 1945 in Syracuse. She survives. He graduated from high school in Johnson. He attended the University of Kansas where he was a member of the Acacia Fraternity. He was a former councilman and mayor of Johnson for 35 years. He was a farmer and long-time member of the National Corn Growers Association. He won first place in the Kansas and Western District contest in 1992. He won third in the national contest in 1994. He was also a long-time cattleman and member of the Kansas Livestock Association. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 441 of Johnson. Other survivors include two sons, Michael Wayne and wife, Barbara, Denver, Colo., and Patrick Lee and wife, Noreen, Johnson; one daughter, Cynthia Ann and husband, Dean, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, O.W. Josserand and wife, Nancy, Johnson, and Emery Josserand, Johnson; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. * Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Johnson with the Rev. Glenn Fogo presiding. Burial will be at Stanton County Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church in Johnson, Valley Hope in Norton or the Stanton County Scholarship Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 605 W.
