Survivors: Brother: Lynn Noble and wife Virginia of Springfield, Missouri, 3 Nieces: Marge Johnston and husband Jim of Oldfield, Missouri, Andi Noble-Buddette and husband Jim of Ozark, Missouri, Diane Ritchie and husband Bill of Mentor on the Lake , Ohio.
Mary Catherine Noble, age 87, passed away at her home on December 21, 2007 after a valiant struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family in Missouri. She was born March 20, 1920 on the family ranch in Hamilton County, Kansas the daughter of Hartwell "John" and Margarette Catherine (Williams) Noble. Mary Catherine a nurse, physical therapist, author and naturalist were just some of the many hats that she wore. A good friend to many in the community, she believed in the strength of the people that she served. Mary Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, her maternal grandmother Mary C. Williamson and her aunt Pearl Williamson Gaskill Bennett.
Memorials may be given to the Stanton County Historical Society of Johnson, Kansas or Community Hospice of America both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 715, Johnson, Kansas 67855.
