About	Clyda Mae Snodgrass, 94, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Washington Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Shelburne officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Snodgrass was born July 27, 1917, in Cherokee, Okla., to Grover and Bessie Newlin. She graduated high school in Johnson, Kan. She moved to Cherokee met and married Clifford Snodgrass on June 17, 1939. She had a career as a hairdresser. Mrs. Snodgrass was a member of the Eastern Star, first and second points. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Snodgrass on Sept. 10, 2000. Survivors include two sons, Charles Snodgrass and wife Mary Jane of Holly Lake Ranch and Tom Snodgrass and wife Pamela of Cotopaxi, Colo.; a sister, Tedna Blackmon of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Burke Snodgrass, Troy Snodgrass, Krista Snodgrass, Niki Rutledge, Kelley Webb Lamour, Nicholas Webb and Ross Webb; and 11 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
