Glenda Scott, 91, died April 23, 2007, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit, Johnson.
She was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Stonington, Colo., the daughter of Samuel and Leola Rourk Posey. She was a graduate of Stanton County High School, Johnson. A resident of Johnson, she was a homemaker, having also worked as a clerk for Gray and Rosel department store and at the FSA office.
On March 2, 1940, she married Ray Scott in Syracuse. He died Nov. 10, 1987.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, Mike Horton and wife, Amber, Johnson, Lacey Horton, Denver, Samantha Horton, Washington, D.C., Brenda Kirk, Johnson, Eric Cota, Phoenix, and Zach Kirk, Liberal.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Stanton County Cemetery, Johnson, with the Rev. Dave Kaufmann presiding. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home, Johnson.
