Filled out mandatory Registration Card for the local WWII draft board on 10/16/1940, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Found no evidence of active duty.
Carl W. Pearce 72, died June 7, 1985, after a long illness.
He was born in Morton County (error), Kansas, moved lo Oklahoma City many years ago. Member of Olivet Baptist Church and retired from Greyhound Bus Company after 31 years service.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Honaker.
Survivors are his wife Billye Jo of the home; daughters, Elaine Smith of Temple, Okla., Mary Calherine Cochran of Bethany, Maureen Pierce of Springfield, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren; sisers, Ila Shelter of ME, Estella Wilson of Colo., Opal Gracmick, also of Colo., and LaVaun Ulery of Kans.; a number of nieces and nephews. Services 10am Monday, Bill Merritt Chapel.
