He lived in Roanoke, Stanton, Kansas for about 10 years and Johnson, Stanton, Kansas, in 1930. He graduated from Johnson in 1926. He died on 19 September 2000, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, at the age of 90, and was buried in Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, Tarrant, Texas.
