Patty Price, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Union Cemetery, Nocona. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Patty was born Dec. 11, 1931, in Elk City, Okla., and graduated from Johnson, Kan., High School. After her retirement from Ben Hogan Company, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. Her travels around the world included Turkey, Egypt Taiwan and Germany, which she remembered fondly. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2005; son, Billy Reece Price, in 2002; her parents, Posey and Elizabeth Hargrove; brother, Don Hargrove; and sister, Betty Wiens.
Survivors: Daughter, Donna Wohl and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Natalea Mixon, Jonathan Austin, Sherese Price, Billy Jake Price and Kaiden Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
