Events	Visitation for Lisa Gay McGowne Love 54, of Katy, Texas will be held Friday January 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home 800 Fourth Street in Rosenberg, Texas. Lisa unexpectedly passed away at her home in Katy, Texas. Lisa was the youngest and only daughter of 5 children to the late Rex and Lois McGowne in Oberlin, Kansas. The family moved to Johnson, Kansas where Lisa graduated from Stanton County Jr/Sr. High School in 1979. Lisa attended and received her Associates in Secretarial Administration from Fort Hays State University in 1981. In 1995 Lisa received her Bachelors- Cumloude in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A & M, Canyon, Texas. Lisa was a member of the Association of Texas Professional Educators. From her graduation in 1995. Lisa taught school, and at her passing she taught at Katy I.S.D. Preceding Lisa in passing was her husband Lynn Love and her parents Rex and Lois McGowne. Lisa is survived by her 4 older brothers and family Steve and wife Aleta, Stuart and sons Jeff and Chris, Mark and daughters Cameron and Amy, Larry and daughter Michelle. Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as other loving family members and friends. Lisa will be missed by her family and friends. We live with the comfort of knowing she now resides in the Relm of Angels, reunited with her husband Lynn and her mom and dad. In Lieu of flowers, Lisa loved animals and a donation of the Humane Society would be appreciated.
