Virginia Ann Jackson, 59, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at her home in Lakin.
She was born Aug. 27, 1951, in Ulysses, to Alfred S. and Wanda Moyer Luna. After graduating from Johnson High School in Johnson City in 1969, she married Dennis Elliott.
A former resident of Cimarron and Ulysses, Mrs. Jackson had resided in Lakin since 2004. She was a licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include a son, Darin Elliott of Portsmouth, N.H.; a daughter, Jenny VanDusen of Lakin; her mother, of Minneola; four brothers, Tony Luna of Minneola, Jeff Luna of Wichita, Mark Luna of Lansing, and Nathan Luna of Lawrence; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Traci Garrett.
Funeral was at the Wesleyan Church in Lakin. Cremation followed.
